GREAT NEWS !
I finally found myself a job. I now works for this company called IHM Sdn. Bhd.. Integrated Healthcare Management (IHM) is a Management Healthcare Organization. We are the liaising company between the customer and the Health Insurance Company. My position there is Senior I.T. Executive. Basically, I am Head of the Technical Division and I have 3 guys reporting to me. Together, we managed the 4 servers and about another 110 PCs in the office. There are 2 more teams in the I.T. and there are the Software Programmers and Web Development. After 4 month of unemployment, this is sweet moment indeed. Especially when I was offered 2 jobs within the same week. The other one was from a computer distribution company called SiS which was also a good position. But it was a sales position and they weren't selling Cisco products anymore. Had they offered me to sell Cisco products, I would have accepted that job instead. But all they wanted me to sell was D-Link products. Still, I had a tough time deciding which job to accept. To be the customer OR the vendor. Obviously the vendor knows more than the customers in certain products. But the customers know more about all other products that the vendor does not sell. At first, I was more inclined towards SiS but after consulting with 3 good friends and my brother, I decided to accept the job with IHM Sdn. Bhd.. The position was better, the pay was better and I didn't need to get a car. I have been the vendor on my last job. I thought it's time for me to be the customer. I started this new job on March 1. So far, I have been assign many projects to manage and system to improve. This is going to be a good working experience for me and good career path to pursue. Still, my ultimate aim is to get my certification in CCIE. But I will give this job my best shot and pursue my CCIE later.
Incidentally, I was offered another job last week. The position is something like what I am doing now but pays less and probably have to 'work like shit'. Good thing I had 2 job offers before this. Otherwise, I think I would have taken the first job offered to me.
Since I haven't been updating this site for a while now, here is a humongous update.
